With planning consent granted, Genesis launches their Next Step Appeal

With planning consent now granted, Genesis Trust has just launched its Next Step Appeal. In its 21st birthday year the charity cites this as its biggest venture yet, a real 'coming of age' project . The £1m appeal will not only provide a permanent home for the charity – It will also enable them to support many more people in Bath , particularly the long term unemployed who will have access to personalised training programmes.
The new building will provide:
- An administrative centre
- A new training facility
- An attractive retail shop

“This project represents Genesis’s biggest challenge to date. The building in Walcot Street is in a very poor condition and needs significant upgrading before it can be used. We have been thrilled with the level of interest, encouragement and support from the wider Bath community – individuals, companies, charitable trusts and churches. We are making good progress with our fundraising activities and we are confident that we will reach our target figure of £1m.”
