At SRA, we have worked with a number of retailer clients to continuously help design the latest JLR’s through the various brand identity changes of the past decade. This has included implementing the dual arch concept in various high profile locations, and more recently the first arch evolution project in the country, located in Cheltenham.
Using the principles established by the brand, we aim to ensure that each dealership shares the core brand language, whilst maximising the potential of each specific site and accommodating each clients’ bespoke set of requirements.
ARCH concept implementation
Since 2015 we have been involved with more than 50 projects around the UK, developing a range of sites with different clients. We are proud of each one of these and the positive impact that each project has had.
Projects have included a number of schemes for Marshall Motor Group such as Cambridge, Ipswich, Lincoln, and most recently Cheltenham. This was the first in the country and one of the first worldwide to implement the new arch evolution concept. This brought new life to a site by providing a state of the art showroom and workshop facilities to a previously outdated dealership location.
We have also worked with Cambria Automobiles in Swindon and Hatfield; both of which include extensive showroom and workshop facilities as part of new build schemes. Quality and operational efficiency were central to the client brief when developing each concept.
Other projects include new build schemes for Inchcape in Southampton, and Jardine Motors in Wolverhampton and Tonbridge, where two very different sites presented varying challenges and opportunities. We worked hard with our client to maximise the potential of each, whilst ensuring operational efficiency and brand compliance.
Each project has built on the knowledge gained from earlier projects, to ensure that the best solutions are adopted.
Flagship design in London
SRA worked with Sytner and Jaguar Land Rover on the development of their UK flagship statement site. As one of only seven sites globally, it showcases the Jaguar Land Rover brand in new and exciting ways, incorporating specialist retail spaces and enhanced customer facilities.
Working with Group 1, SRA delivered one of our most ambitious Jaguar Land Rover projects to date, situated on the North Circular road into Central London. We started working on a feasibility study to investigate the possibility of converting an existing unit into a dual brand showroom, which quickly turned into a full new-build project for a large scale dealership with associated workshop facilities. The completed scheme is spread over 4 floors and maximises viewpoints from various levels to reinforce brand presence.
